Looking for something to brighten your beauty routine without a ton of effort? Designers are churning out new scents like it’s their job (well, it sort of is) and it seems no matter what your style, there’s something on the market that attempts to embody you. We can’t bottle individuality, but if we had to find six scents that contain a heavy dose of, “Mmm...what are you wearing?” it’d have to be in the following.

Jo Malone Blue Agava and Cacao - Made of the same flower in which our beloved tequila is made, this scent has a little bit of spice and a whole lotta nice. The price is steep, but we can promise that no one else in the room will be wearing the same thing. Plus, when folks inquire and you answer, the common response is, “Jo who?” Yeah...we love wearing anything that makes people say that.

Burberry The Beat - If you had to wrap up London cool into a bottle, it might smell similar to The Beat. The new fragrance launched by Burberry creative director, Christopher Bailey, incorporates all of that hipster coolness that the hippest city on the other side of the pond is known for. Bergamot and ceadarwood keep the scent from getting too floral for words, but the hint of iris and white musk keep things from becoming too masculine. In all honesty, this smells fantastic on a guy or a gal.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb - This has top notes of tea and bergamot, a combination that isn’t commonly used in the industry, so it’s no wonder that wonder team Viktor & Rolf thought to pair the two into one gorgeous fragrance. Besides smelling adult (not in a dirty way, of course), the bottle is to-die-for. Literally. The grenade-shaped bottle is perfection with the intricate facets and ballet pink liquid that’s inside. Once the perfume is gone (and it will go quickly once you smell it), the bottle will sit on your vanity reminding you that you need to stock up soon.
Agent Provocateur Maitresse - Sure, the liquid gold bottle is as eye-catching as the half-naked lady that’s on it, but the real star here is scent. Like it’s sister fragrance, Maitresse is a super sexy smell that lingers for hours. While most fragrances can be switched out from day to night, this one has a distinct “evening” vibe thanks to base notes of white lotus flower petals topped off by jasmine. It sounds ultra sweet, right? Take one whiff and realize it’s anything but.
Marc Jacobs Daisy - If you’re looking for something super girlie, look no further. Smelling more like a fierce bouquet of gardenias than daisies, the new fragrance from Marc Jacobs screams spring like no other launch this season. It’s a floral for sure, so be sure you’re in the mood for zest when you spritz this perfume on. While it may be a bit too flower-y for some of us, mixing it with an amber essential oil tones down the floral top notes revealing a scent that is warm and inviting...like a breezy summer day.

Sheer Stella - Stella McCartney’s Stella is a tried-and-true fragrance that smells great on anyone. The heavy peony scent is captured in a very pure and subtle way, and now, they’ve toned it down even further with the arrival of Sheer Stella. Perfect for those of us who live in oh-so-hot climates, Sheer Stella is a delicate take on the staple fragrance. Don’t confuse delicate with diluted. This perfume is a heck of a lot easier on the senses when the sun is beating down. After all, perspiration and an $80 bottle of eau de parfum just don’t mix.
