Product Review: Nexxus Dualiste Color Protection + Anti-Breakage Shampoo & Conditioner

Women color their hair more as a fashion statement and not just to cover stubborn grays. Because of this most shampoos and conditioners are made for color treated hair. Brands are coming our with gentler formulas to protect hair from our day to day torture. With all that coloring not only do you want to protect the color from fading, but you want to protect your hair from breaking. Breakage has been my main concern lately. Coloring, blowdrying, straightening, and curling takes a toll on hair and you end up with ugly flyaways as a result.

I'm not happy when I see a big clump of hair in my shower drain or break away strands around my bathroom sink where I style my hair. On my quest to less breakage I recently tried out the Nexxus Dualiste Color Protection + Anti-Breakage Shampoo & Conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner comes in a long purple bottle with a pump that squeezes a ribbon of color protection and an anti breakage formula which you mix in your hands and apply to your hair.

The one thing that sticks out to me the most is the great smell of the shampoo and conditioner. It smells like coconuts and pineapples. It makes you feel like you're sipping a tropical drink on a warm summer day at the beach. It's like a 15 minute mini vacation from daily stresses of life.

I tried the Nexxus Dualiste Color Protection + Anti-Breakage Shampoo & Conditioner several times and noticed a slight reduction of hair in my shower drain. It looks like it's protecting my hair from breaking. I still had to alternate with an anti-itch/dandruff shampoo, but this is a nice addition to my shower experience.
