Product Review: Diesel Fuel For Life Fragrance - Use With Caution

Diesel recently released a new fragrance for men and women called Fuel For Life and we wanted to give you the low down on both of them.

Diesel Fuel For Life for Women

The Fuel For Life fragrance for women is in the "woody" category for its crispness and warmth which tones down to be powdery and soft. The women's perfume has notes of Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Patchouli, Black Currant, Raspberry, and Musk. I've noticed fragrances that claim to be "sexy" have notes of pink pepper, jasmine, or patchouli or all of them. This fragrance definitely has a touch of flirtiness and sex appeal, but it's not the womanly sex appeal of spicy or oriental scents. It's more of a young, carefree, sexy that exudes a touch of naughtiness. This is for someone who has sex appeal and likes to flirt. Someone who wears sexy skinny denim with stilettos and isn't afraid to get decked out for parties and nights out.

Diesel Fuel For Life for Men

The Fuel For Life fragrance for men is in the "aromatic" category for its woody, spicy, and fruity scent. The men's perfume has notes of Star Anise, Grapefruit, Raspberry, Lavender, Heliotrope, Dry Woods. From a female perspective this is a very sexy scent for men and something your man should try. It's very masculine and has a very naughty, rebellious, and bad boy appeal to it. This is definitely for a guy that makes his own rules. Someone who isn't afraid to push the buttons and gets what he wants. He dresses casual, but with an edge most of the time and dressy when he needs to - think Diesel's men's line.

Packaging

Both fragrances are sexy and come in a very distinguishable bottle. The women's fragrance bottle is dressed in a sexy stretchy see-through lace and the men's fragrance bottle comes in a rugged stitched brown cloth with a zipper on the side of the bottle. The men's bottle really resembles a small liquor bottle with a screw top. Both bottles are very edgy and different than most fragrance bottles on the market.

Overall

Both fragrances are long lasting which means a little goes a long way and you save by using a small amount. The fragrances are good for night and day time use. I would say the men's fragrance is slightly better than the women's so it would be a great gift for your guy.
