New York Fashion Week - Anna Sui Fall 2009 Beauty

One trend Sui did not sway from was in the hair department. Continuing on with the much of this fashion week’s theme, the Sui gals sported a toned-down rocker look. It was most likely chosen to ward off a look that appeared too contrived. With such a flashy collection, it was the optimal choice. The short haired models showed off chunky pieces in the front while the others had a soft teased do-it-yourself look. Keeping with the eccentricity of the collection, makeup artists applied rosy cheeks and incandescent lips. The ever-present spring trend of thick black liner with smoky eye shadow balanced out the otherwise supple look.
