Sevi means “love” in Turkish, and when you see how their namesake label of makeup does your skin, you’ll fall in love yourself. Packed with organic ingredients and not a drop of animal-anything, Sevi is a true crusader in the world of eco-friendly beauty products.
While many brands use buzzwords like, “naturel,” Sevi actually backs up its claims, making you feel a little less weary about trying out the label. We all know how pricey it can be to make a trip to Whole Foods, which brings me to the major plus side of this brand: the price points. Blush and glosses retail for $13.50 (not dirt cheap, but comparable to many beauty products on the market), and highlighting sticks and shadows top out at $18.
A downside are the swatches the company shows on their site. You can’t get a real feel of colors dubbed “saffron,” “double ginger,” and “rose petal,” when you’re perusing their goods online. Their mineral foundation and blush work similar to that of Bare Escentuals or any other mineral line, working with the skin to create a soft, clear palette for makeup.
